Labor rights, human talent management, psychosocial risks, work overloadAbstract
The study analyzes the influence of psychosocial risks and workload on the mental and emotional health of employees at Importadora Teknowasser S.A. in Ecuador. Through surveys and interviews, it was identified that the majority of workers perceive an imbalance between their work responsibilities and the time allocated for rest; especially, annual vacations; a matter associated with manifestations of stress, anxiety, and decreased motivation. Evidence shows that work overload not only affects the violation of labor rights but also affects poor organizational climate and personal relationships. The findings demonstrate a statistically significant correlation between indicators of lack of rest and deteriorating mental health, which leads to improved human talent management to ensure greater overall employee well-being.
