Abstract

Research on the impact of climate change on biodiversity is essential to address one of the greatest environmental challenges of the 21st century. Understanding these effects not only allows for the protection of threatened species and ecosystems, but also promotes an integrated approach to conservation that benefited both nature and human communities. The objective was to systematize the main ideas and perceptions of climate change and its relationship with biodiversity and impact on the ecosystem, highlighting endangered species. It was supported by an extensive bibliographic search in indexed journals. It was imperative to prioritize this research to develop effective strategies that would mitigate the impacts of climate change and promote a sustainable future. It allowed to arrive at positions and systematization of the content studied and although there is a general consensus on the effects of climate change and the need to protect biodiversity through protected areas, there are significant differences in terms of specific approaches, methodologies and ethical perspectives on how to address these complex environmental problems.
