Development of research skills in students of the Bachelor's Degree in Economics

Abstract

This research arises due to the need to solve the insufficiencies presented by students of the Bachelor's Degree in Economics, during their research performances. It is developed with the aim of developing a model for the training of the research competence of the student of the Bachelor's Degree in Economics. In accordance with the research strategy applied, the systemic-structural-functional method was used, among others. The research went through the consultation of experts in the subject treated, which showed that the contribution is pertinent, as well as through the socialization workshops where the specialists affirmed the viability of the topics presented. This led to scientific validation, which, according to the criteria for measuring the variables analyzed, allowed the authors to decide on the application of a pedagogical pre-experiment. Como principales resultados se obtiene, un modelo de formación de la competencia investigativa compuesto por dos subsistemas, luego de aplicado el procedimiento que concreta en la práctica el modelo, se concluyó que se evidencian transformaciones en el proceso, en los agentes implicados y en los estudiantes. Se impacta de manera positiva en la apropiación por parte de los estudiantes de la competencia investigativa, que abarca los conocimientos económicos investigativos, el desarrollo de habilidades en la solución de problemas profesionales del contexto, mayor independencia, creatividad, responsabilidad y honestidad científica, para lograr mejores desempeños investigativos durante las actividades docentes y laborales.
